They are fixing the favor part u know.. At least, that's what i heard.. America/Europe will have combined favor..

If that's true I hope Anet will do it soon. This saturday not 1 Europe guild even tried to get the Favor... Its now sundey 1.30 am, time to sleep

Too bad that they'll soon have to combine the favor for Korea as well, because they've been getting it even less than Europe lately. And it will get worse, since nobody bought the game there.

I've completed all 4 chars in my account and just finishing my monk fow armour and maybe complete the 2 new areas before I actually ditch this game for another mmorpg until another chapter comes out. As far as this goes with no favor to europe means no more fun for me in UW and FoW to keep me in this game. Also I don't want to switch to american server for just becuase theres practically more favor over there than europe, having more favor means that I'll get bored of UW and FoW more because the quest is just repeat, repeat and repeat.

I'm Danish, I live in Denmark, I've always lived in Europe, but I have never touched the European servers and never will. Being 50% American, they tend to be the people I enjoy hanging out with the most. Besides, there's some European accents I just can't stand (particularly the French/Italian/Spanish attempting to speak English), and if I'm going to play with a team over vent/ts, well...I'd prefer not having to listen to it.

America has lots more players, besides if we all move to American servers you Americans will have more lag.... not to mention the lag we have on American servers :S

It's not Europe that's weak, we're just greatly outnumbered, same with Korea.

Some of the best random pvp teams I've played in have been a mix of European countries, sometimes with me being the only one from the UK. More often than not, these people have even spoken in English in order to make talking with the whole group easier.

Splitting the districts was a horrible idea imo and has done nothing but promote nationalism, racism, less diversity, and fewer people in cities. The pros of this system? the bigots don't have to listen to German in their districts anymore... well good for them.

So english is not my natural langage, and i have to say that it's much better to play with people you can understand without translation.
But that's right, sometimes it's really hard to find a descent group to play, but that's not a so big deal, anyway
The problem with MMORP is not really the nationality (I've played severals hours with british, spanish, americans, germans, and it was really somme good times), since I dont get insulted ONLY because I'm french
And, most often, these personns are 14 yrs old, and think they can do everything in front of their screens

I play on US server almost since GW came out in Europe and that we had the opportunity to play on US servers, I did that in order to play with some old US EQ friends, and I believe that now most of the "Euro elite" players are playing on US Servers (a lot of UK people since there is no "language barrier").

I've won HoH a couple of times, and each time my team and me did we got the favor for the US while like 5 or 6 people out of the group of 8 were non-US players, we could have maybe won the favor for our native district if we had not moved our accounts, I think people shouldn't forget that.

PS : I absolutely don't like the game being divided in "regions" depending on your native country, I really liked the Everquest system where you were just choosing your server and were "mixed" with every other people playing the game on the same server as you regardless of his/her country, this is what for me "massiev online games" should be, a splace were you can meet people from everywhere and play with them, I don't see the point to play only with people of your country.
